Resource Manual of Practical Ideas

What is the Resource Manual of Practical Ideas?

The Best Practices in Action Resource Manual of Practical Ideas is a collection of best practices submitted by adult educators and literacy practitioners across the Northwest Territories. It documents the many activities and practices that have proven successful in literacy and basic education programs and illustrates the wealth of knowledge and experience of literacy practitioners in the north.

This resource manual is designed as a “living document” that we hope will continue to grow. As you read through the resource we hope it will spark ideas and excite you to share the best practices that are working in your community. New submissions can be sent to the NWT Literacy Council. The resource manual is available online on the NWT Literacy Council, Aurora College and Department of Education, Culture and Employment websites.
