Logging On and Logging Off

You need to log on before you can use your computer.
You need to log off when you finish using your computer.

Logging On
like signing in on your computer

Server
a central computer that is connected to many other computers

Your e-mail comes to a server before you can get it.

Your screen for logging on will look like this:

To Log On

• Type in your user name.
• Type in your password. You will not see the letters. This is because your password is secret.
• Type in the server you log onto.
• Click on OK.

If you need help, ask your manager.
Keep your password secret. Never tell anyone.
