Cooking is a wonderful family literacy activity. Parents can teach their children how to
follow a recipe and how to measure ingredients. By doubling or tripling the recipe you are
also teaching math!

Give parents a package of ready made muffin mix so they
can make muffins with their children – or make them with
the parents for snack time.
