Editing Fonts

When you start working with fonts, you will discover some of the many ways to change the appearance of fonts. We can change the font size, colour, type, alignment on page and whether is it bold, italic or underlined.

To Change the Font Size

On the Tool bar, look for this picture.

  1. If the document has already been typed, highlight the text to want to size.
  2. Use the drop down arrow.
  3. Click on the number that you want to just. Text is automatically changed

To Change Font Type

On the Tool bar, look for this picture.

Font type drop down menu

Use the same steps above to change the font type.

To Change the Font Style

On the Tool bar, look for this picture.

Bold, Italic, and Underline buttons

  1. Highlight the text you want to change.
  2. Click once on any one or combination of buttons to change the settings.
  3. Click anywhere on the document and the highlighted feature disappears.

To Change Alignment of Text on Page

On the Tool bar, look for this picture.

  1. Click in front of the line you want to move and then click on the alignment.

    If it's the whole document you want to move. Highlight the text first then click on the alignment button.
