“Farmers in Prince Edward Island grow potatoes as their main crop in the red soil of the province. Their potatoes are so good that other people across Canada buy them to use as seed potatoes. All the way around the island fisherman catch lobsters. The lobsters are then taken to canneries in the province or they are shipped on ice to the large cities of Canada and the United States. People everywhere are willing to pay a high price for a good meal of lobster from the Maritimes.
