If you have the inclination to watch animals instead of killing them, you should by a pair of field glasses. Some people do not like to shoot any kind of game. Others may not even like to hold a gun or to fire it. I know one man who always jams the shells when he puts them in. In general, it is much easier to handle a pair of binoculars than a rifle.
