Dog Goes For 17 Days With No Food Or Water Doug Mann comes from Victoria. On February sixth he traveled to Vancouver for a meeting. He took his dog, Laska, with him. While Doug was at the meeting, someone stole his truck. Laska was in her kennel in the back of the truck! The police looked for the truck, but they could not find it. On February 22nd, two men found Doug's truck. It was parked on a street in Vancouver. Laska was still in her kennel. She was alive, but she was very weak. A veterinarian at an animal clinic took care of Laska. Doug took her home after five days. "The people at the animal clinic brought Laska back to life, " Doug says.
