Karen has been a student with the READ/WRITE Literacy Program in Pincher Creek for six years. She has been with her tutor, Helen Mackenzie, for a long time and they enjoy working with each other.

Karen has written several short stories over the years, but “Dear Diary” is one of her favorites. Although it is not a true story, she enjoyed writing about helping the older woman in her story and hopes everyone else enjoys it too.
