Jim Laboucane has been a student, off and on, since 1994. Jim experiences a lot of health problems and has been required to take breaks from time to time. His writing experiences within the program have centered around current events. Jim enjoys reading the local newspapers and magazine articles. He will often write articles that express his opinion on stories in the news. This practice has helped his writing improve. He also reads CD rom books that are voice activated, allowing him to catch up on reading many classic pieces of literature.
