In 1988, I moved in to my own apartment. I live by myself. I like living in my apartment. I have one bedroom and bathroom and a living room, kitchen and laundry room. I have a TV, computer, sofa, coffee table, dinner table and chairs. In my bedroom, I have a TV and a radio. I have two telephones in the kitchen. I have a microwave oven and a fridge. I have pictures of my family in my apartment. As well, I have a picture of Jesus Christ and horses.
My family has grown up now. My mom, Shigzu, and my dad, Wally, are retired. My sister Carol is married and has moved to her big house in Ajax. Ken is married and he has two sons. He lives in Toronto. My sister Karen, the baby, is not married but she has a boyfriend. My dad marched in a marching band in 1965. I was 10 years old.
A best friend is someone who spends time with me going to movies, going shopping in the mall, going out to coffee shops and restaurants. Friends meet my family and go for walks and listen to me and like me. David B. is my best friend. Sometimes, he comes to see me and we have dinner together, watch movies and sleep overnight. David helps me out when we go shopping. He phones me everyday. He is a nice guy. Irene is my friend, too. We go out for coffee and she phones me, too.
I go to school at Frontier College to learn to read and write. I like the Monday night workshop. I am interested in the world wars and the Korean War. My father was in the army a long time ago.
I like to listen to the radio stations. I enjoyed 1050 CHUM and any kind of music. My favourite foods are food from different countries. I like the Caravan Festival.
