I remember one place near Casa Loma. We used to live there. I didn’t have a favourite room, but I guess it could be my bedroom. I was shy and quiet. I lived with my family until I was 12 years old, then my parents broke up and I lived with my mother until I was 30 years old. Then I moved in with my first boyfriend. I was a very sad child. I was by myself in my room often. My sisters and brother were out a lot from what I remember.

When I was 12 years old, my dad and I went up to a lake to see his friend Bill and we went for a boat ride. When we went to Musselman’s Lake I went swimming. I also got sunburn. I was with my family under the tree and still got sunburn. I was lying on my stomach in our station wagon because my back was so burned.

Once my family and I went to Centre Island and we had a picnic lunch. We ate chicken and cucumber salad it was good and I loved it. When I was young I went to camp with my sister. I remember when my sister went in the lake, she got bitten by a crab.

I had to sleep with one of the girls at camp because there were not enough beds. So I got wet from the girl who peed on me. We played games and we went swimming. One time when I was a child I went up north to a cottage with my godparents. They asked me what I wanted for my birthday and they gave me a toy. It was a cash register. It was one of the best gifts I ever got.

I had a teacher when I was in public school. I remember that she was pretty and nice. One of the things I liked about her was she always asked me to help her rub off the blackboard, hand out papers, and take the attendance sheet to the office. I was shy when I was little and this helped me to feel good about myself. Now that I look back it makes me feel like I have more confidence in myself because of her.
