speech fluent or are there
many pauses?
- Is the speech grammatically accurate? Are
there breakdowns in communication because
the word order is often incorrect?
- Can the learner pronounce
individual sounds
correctly?
- Does the learner use appropriate intonation
patterns? (Do questions sound like questions
and statements like statements?)
