For the love of Carol hires other people to help out during the busy times. Sometimes she has three people working with her in the little shop. Carol has thought about expanding her business. She thinks expansion might be costly. Carol says, This has been a really exciting business for me. She says she looked out through her window three years ago to see cars lined up on both sides of the road. People were flocking to her store. One thing I really like is that Ive met so many people, says Carol. She has had visitors from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Alberta and the United States. She has also met many people on her visits to craft fairs. Carol has made special chocolate items for weddings and other occasions. She had a special mould made in the shape of Newfoundland. She calls the chocolate she makes in that mould A taste of the Rock. Carol also makes truffles and fudgels. Fudgels are little chocolate squares. She says they are very popular with tourists. |
