Short but Funny

Education Plus

It isn’t easy to get the courage to sign up for an adult basic education class. It was even harder for one student who quit when he was in Grade 6. He visited his local employment centre but was told he needed at least Grade 8.

“You mean to tell me that I need an education to get an education,” he laughed.

Odd Pair

Getting ready for school or work each morning can have its funny moments. You have to prepare breakfast, drop the kids off at school and you have to make sure you’re not late.

Getting dressed in the morning was the biggest problem for one teacher. We won’t say who, nor will we say where or when this happened, but a “powerful” teacher came to school one morning with odd footwear. No, not socks, shoes!

After the students had a great chuckle, one guy said, “Excuse me sir, but you’ve got odd shoes on.”

The teacher replied, “Yes, and I have another pair just like them at home!”
