Video Launch - MacMorran Community Centre

On Friday, June 9, 2000, parents, children, and guests, gathered at MacMorran Community Centre for the launch of two videos to accompany the family literacy program PRINTS (Parents Roles Interacting With Teacher Support). The first "Parent Video", approximately 30 minutes in length, provides snippets of parents (grandparents and others) and children engaging in various activities designed to improve literacy skills. This video is to accompany the 'Facilitators Handbook". The second video, "Train the Facilitator Video", approximately 75 minutes, provides training for facilitators who might wish to facilitate the PRINTS program. This video accompanies the "Train the Facilitator Manual". The videos were made possible by the participation of parents (and others) and children from the MacMorran Community.
