65% of females and 56% of males in Burgeo do not have their high school certificate, a significant gender gap between the two community based populations. Further, this is 14-20 percentage points higher than the provincial average and also considerably higher than the zonal average. There is a 10% gender gap between the males with a Trades or Non-University post-secondary education (28%) and the females (18%).
