Assessor's Field Notes and the Reading Process
The following data comes from the field notes of four assessors recorded on the Basic Reading Inventory Performance booklet. Data is reported from two assessment periods: first and third. The field notes on the same students are compared. The examples in the tables below compare the assessors' observations on children's reading progress over the duration of the project. Male students are identified by (M) and female students and female students by (F).
