8. Overview of Program Please give a brief description of the initiative, in one or two sentences. Change Your Future (CYF) is an innovative educational program designed to increase the odds of success in school. The program provides racially diverse students who want to succeed academically, with the necessary support to stay in school and to plan their futures. Within the school system, CYF Program Counsellors are placed in schools 1.5 days per week and work with school staff to increase the level and quality of educational attainment among the students participating in the program.
