Realtime Career Chat is a pilot project that uses instant messaging technology to connect students and alumni to MUN’s career centre counsellors who can provide career-related information in a real-time setting.

MUN has a number of students who live remotely or internationally and its career centre saw the opportunity to use technology to move beyond the campus and extend their services to these students and alumni.

It also supports those students who are uncomfortable visiting the career centre and asking for career information face-to-face.
