- Most PIAC respondents had an external asset management style:
- External, 66%
- Internal, 22%
- Mixture, 9%
- No answer, 3%
- Nine of the fourteen barriers identified received an overall rating of important or very important
- Six barriers were rated as important or very important by between two-thirds to three-quarters of total
PIAC respondents
- Certain barriers linked to the structure of private capital markets (i.e., costs and risks,
management/information intensity, supply of specialists, etc.) received most emphasis in ratings and related
comments.
