• The National Literacy Secretariat of Human Resources and Social Development Canada funded research and production of the Family Literacy Directory and Family Literacy Map.
• Literacy BC and ABC CANADA Literacy Foundation helped us frame the concept of family literacy and gave us permission to include excerpted definitions.
• Community agencies — Project Literacy Victoria, the South Island Learning Community and the Greater Victoria Public Library, Central Branch — provided in-kind support.
