Type A - Ordinary Combustible

• where quenching and cooling is required

Type B - Flammable Liquid

• oil, gasoline, paint, grease
• where oxygen exclusion or flame interruption is essential

Type C - Electrical Equipment

• electrical wiring and equipment
• where non-conductivity needed

Type D - Combustible Metals

• sodium, magnesium, potassium
