Performs pre-operational inspection.
Assessment Criteria Results
  • 1. Checks motor oil levels.
  • 2. Checks transmission, hydraulic and coolant levels.
  • 3. Does a walk-around to ensure there are no leaks.
  • 4. Checks that that parking brake has been applied.
  • 5. Checks the equipment’s tires.
  • 6. Starts the machine and recheck all fluid levels.
  • 7. Check that the gauges are working properly.
  • 8. Tests gauges if needed.
  • 9. Does a sufficient warm-up prior to engaging the equipment.
