Individual Reactions to ChangeAlthough the impact of the changes will be perceived and reacted to differently by the individuals within the organization, it appears that most individuals go through similar stages of acceptance of the changes. In this workshop, you have examined the five-stage process adapted from Elizabeth Kubler-Ross' model of grieving in On Death and Dying. This model is a helpful tool; however, it is important to remember that each individual may experience this in a unique way.Effective Strategies for Managing ChangeIn addition to the tips and tools you have learned in the workshop, we have included an excerpt from the recent Ontario Literacy Coalition publication, Assessing Up, Designing Down.
