LITERACY AND SELF-ESTEEM

Daily living for one with poor literacy skills may be
filled with fear, isolation, frustration, shame, excuses,
and hopelessness,
bridging from low self-esteem.

When a person feels like a nobody,
it often mirrors someone else’s words or view. If you’ve
been told you’re stupid enough times, you’ll start to
believe it.

A person with low self-esteem
needs courage to step forward to learn,
but with his/her learning,
may gain a new attitude and outlook on life.

Having a healthy self-respect
is essential for personal growth
and a quality of life.
A life without purpose
can reflect a book of words without meaning.
