community–based organizations and individuals to optimize strategic investments in labour market
development.
- Strategic Coordination – of key departments and agencies to create a collaborative decision–making
forum.
- Capacity Building – in existing education and training systems requires a more flexible and
responsive approach to skill development and the delivery mechanisms.
- Information – must be timely and accurate to allow for knowledge sharing and relevant and
responsive labour market policies, programs and services.
- Accountability – through the assignment of clear objectives and expected levels of performance.
- Inclusion – of every Nova Scotian by ensuring access to opportunities allowing
them to become actively involved in the labour market.
