This book is published by East End Literacy
Press in Toronto.
It was written by Rose Doiron, 32, an adult
learner at the East End Literacy Project. Rose wrote this book for her mother,
her aunt, her sisters, and her many friends. It was produced by volunteer
tutors, learners and staff in the Project.
"If people read my story, maybe they will talk
more about what it is like to get beat up," says Rose. "Maybe, someday, it will
stop."
