Food to many on this earth is attained only in a dream.
In third world countries the main focus is not on the materialistic
amenities of our North American societies. By contrast, these
overpopulated countries concern themselves day to day with the
nourishment of their children and themselves.

Every morning I sit on the bus
down the highway, high above
the city. The buildings are like
a blanket, covering everything
as far as the eye can see but
once in a while something
manages to break through
and disrupt the monotony.
Huge green balls and towering
spikes pushing through the
flatness like huge wild flowers
growing in a tidy garden.

this view in front of our house ten years later.
