In the first group that worked with Frances, one woman began by talking about how the issue of poverty came out over and over again during their woman-positive activity. Another woman talked about how violence - physical, verbal, and sexual violence - was a major issue for women in her program. This prompted a lot of discussion, leading to issues of homelessness, training, and childcare.
