Some people think that workers in unions should
also bargain about the work itself, about what they make and how they make it.
For example, workers in an auto- mobile factory could decide that they don't
want to work on an assembly line with a foreman. A team of workers could make a
whole car. They could decide among them- selves which person does which parts
of the work. They could bargain for the right to do that. However, unions don't
often bargain to control the work itself. |
