Call for Papers - The Canadian Research Institute for the Advancement of Women (CRIAW) is seeking abstracts and proposals (250 words) outlining research papers, round tables, panels on the theme of "sexism in Research and its Policy Implications" for their Annual Conference to be held in the fall. Ideas to be submitted to Jill Vicers, C / O CRIAW, Box 236, Station B, Ottawa, Ontario, K1P 6C4. The conference will be held in Ottawa, Nov. 19 th - 21 st at the Skyline Hotel.

Canada's Education Ministers meet in Toronto, Oct. 19 th to 22 nd for the Education Ministers' Conference. Women's organizations wishing to present briefs on issues relevant to women can contact their provincial Education Minister for further information.

Women's Health: Breast Care & Treatment is the topic of a Tuesday evening series to be held at the Halifax City Regional Library, Oct. 19 th to Nov. 16 th at 7:30 p.m. Normal breast care, research, diagnostic processes, and post-surgical care will be discussed. The Series is sponsored by Dalhousie Part-Time Studies, The Women's Health Education Network (WHEN), The Halifax Library, The Canadian Cancer Society, and the Dalhousie School of Nursing.
