Woman reading

We are an innovative, accessible, networked and trusted expert partner that consistently delivers, in both official languages, client-focused solutions linking organizations and learning practitioners to life-long and life-wide learning expertise, as well as a digital library offering the largest, most comprehensive and current collection of digital tools and resources in the country.

We are focused on business and project opportunities in the learning field in Canada and abroad, to which we can take our expertise, our experience and our network of organizations.

  • Project partnerships
  • Project leadership and management
  • E-business services
  • Contracted IT services

Copian’s roots are firmly planted in the Literacy and Essential Skills (LES) field. As such, that area will always be an important part of our service offerings.

We continue to host websites and email services for non-profit organizations in the LES field on a complimentary basis. The Copian library is at the heart of our organization, and plays a central role in our suite of services.  In addition, we’ve recently launched two new database products for the LES field and beyond: Modus and Studio.

  • Modus is a searchable directory of Canadian essential skills assessment tools.
  • Studio is our online database of workplace learning case studies and best practices.

In keeping with our status as a charitable non-profit organization, the focus of our efforts is to provide information and knowledge-sharing services free of charge to the LES field. To support our charitable objectives, we engage in project and other business opportunities in the broader learning community to generate revenue.

Copian is the lead network that Canadians rely on to connect them to information, tools, resources, expertise and each other.
