Hockey

by Jemina Cook

I like to go to the Portage Terrier Hockey games. I go with the Perkins family. We have season tickets. I like to watch hockey because there is a lot of action, especially when they fight. I have been going to hockey games for years. I have a green pom pom that I cheer with. Chrissie gave me a plastic bottle with some money in it. This makes a loud noise when I shake it. Charlie and I take turns buying each other a soft drink between periods. The Terriers are in the playoffs. Watching hockey makes the long winter go by faster.
