This week, we have a story written by Dianne, from Bedford-Sackville, Nova Scotia. Dianne is enrolled in literacy classes at the Bedford Sackville Literacy Network (BSLN).
I never thought I could go back to school at my age. I am 47 and my kids are already finished school. I decided it was time to do something for myself so I called the literacy network. Going to Sackville High the first time was the scariest thing I've ever done. But everyone was really nice, especially my tutor. Now I like Monday nights because I know I will learn something new. You're never too old to go back to school!
