Save a Document When a document is displayed in the document window, it is saved only in the computer's memory. If your computer loses power, you will lose all the information you have entered. Therefore, you should save your document to a disk to store it for future use. When you save your file for the first time, it is good idea to give the file a meaningful name so that you can easily remember its contents. To Save a File For the First Time
Choose 3 ½ Floppy (A:) if you want to save your document to your floppy disk. Choose (c:) if you want to save your document to your computer's hard drive.

file and like to save the changes, click the Save
