A Quick Tour of Communicator
Now that the software is running on your desktop, lets take a
quick look around. Your screen should look similar to that of Figure
2-7. The most important question is "How do I start the different
Communicator components?"

The various components of Communicator are accessible in a variety
of ways. The easiest method is by using the Component Bar (Figure
2-8). The Component bar will automatically appear on the desktop
whenever the user launches one of the Communicator components. To
launch one of the components listed on the Component Bar, simply click
on the icon or picture. If the component is already running, but
buried under other windows, clicking on the component bar will bring
the appropriate window to the front and make it active. |
