Do you have change?
- Identify and teach key vocabulary from the
picture (bus, change, $5, etc.).
- Write vocabulary from the illustration on separate pieces of paper and ask learners to match
the words with the picture.
- Show a word from the illustration and ask
learners to point to it.
- Look at the picture and ask learners to identify
what is happening.
- Instructor writes what the learners say in
sentences.
- Instructor reads the sentences.
- Learners read the sentences.
- Instructor whites out a word from each sentence
and asks learners to fill in the blank.
- Instructor cuts up one sentence and mixes the
words up. Learners put the words in order to
remake the sentence.
- Cut up the story into sentences and put them in
order.
- Learners can copy the sentences onto a separate
paper.
