Chili

You can make a big batch of this chili on the weekend and freeze it in smaller containers for a quick meal during the week

You will need:

½ cup chopped onion

2 tbsp oil

1 lb. ground beef

1 14 oz. can tomatoes

2 14 oz. can mixed beans

3 tsp chilli powder

1 tsp salt

1 tsp oregano

 

method

  1. Sauté the onion in the oil

  2. Add the ground beef and brown. Drain.

  3. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer over low heat for 1 hour. Makes 6 servings.
