How can you get our materials?General Procedures To Borrow Materials From A Library.If you are looking for information on science, the first step is to look for that material in your local library. This can be either a public, school or college library. Each library lists its materials in a catalogue of some type. Many are on computers. Look up the subject or title in the catalogue, or ask your local library staff for help. If the materials you want are not there, there are other ways to get them. Your public library is connected to other libraries in the province, in Canada and in the world through a network called Interlibrary Loan. This service is usually free if the material is coming from a public library. Sometimes, if the material comes from a University or special library there could be a cost. If you don't have a public library in your community, you can find one close to you on the libraries website on the Internet. Requests can be sent in by fax, mail or taken over the telephone. Request forms can be obtained from the school, public library or can be requested from our office. We are also part of the Provincial Public Library system and participate in reciprocal borrowing and Interlibrary loans.
