Annotated Bibliography of
Professional Resources
This bibliography is a work in progress. Currently, it represents sources suggested to and
used by the Benchmarks pilot testers of 2005, on topics such as adult education
principles, assessment, and teaching strategies. The list is neither comprehensive nor
exhaustive, and it does not represent what it is felt that all instructors, tutors, or learners
should use. It simply describes the resources that have been recommended by pilot testers of
the Circle of Learning Benchmarks document. The intent is to update the bibliography on a
regular basis.
