In the future DVD will replace VHS. I would like to get a DVD burner to transfer my videotapes. I have lots of videotapes. You can get a DVD burner now but they’re very expensive. Maybe in the future the price will go down and I will buy one. There are DVDs I would like to buy, especially of old musicals. I would like to buy a new TV, when the old one breaks down. It would be bigger and have square corners and stereo sound.
I would like to continue bicycling in the future. I worry about the city getting bigger and the country smaller. New houses are being built everywhere and the farmhouses and barns being torn down.
The new Sheppard line subway will make it easier for me to get to work. Maybe in the future it will go out to the Downsview station. The Yonge line might go north to Steeles. It would make it easier to get out of the city.
I would like to live in the country because it’s quieter out there. I could go swimming more often. In the winter I could go ice skating and cross country skiing. It would be nice to live in the Kruger’s cottage but I think it’s sold. I would like to live in a small town. In the future I want to keep my job at Loblaws till I’m 65 years old. Maybe I’ll retire at 67 or 70, it depends on my health.
I’ll ride my bike, walk, skate, swim and cross country ski to stay in shape.
