Yes, you can take paid vacation even if you work part-time.
The same rule applies as for full-time employees. The number of paid vacation
days depends on how long you have worked for your employer.
If you have worked less than one year for the same employer, you can take one
(1) day per month worked up to the end of the reference year. If you have worked
four (4) years for the same employer, you can take two (2) weeks paid vacation.
If you have worked more than five (5) years, you can take three (3) weeks
paid vacation.
The amount you will get paid depends on how many hours you have worked during the reference year.
If you have worked less than five (5) years, you will get 4% of your gross wages (before taxes and deductions). This works out to about two weeks pay.
If you have worked more than five (5) years, you will get 6% of your gross wages (before taxes and deductions). This works out to about three weeks pay.
