LLC staff members are often asked questions which are universal across Canada. In each issue of Literacy Connections this column will address one or two of these queries. One such question is:
"What is the cost of registering a tutor with LLC?"

Once a volunteer has taken Laubach's basic literacy tutor workshop the cost is a one-time-only fee of $1 to register this person nationally with Laubach. This one dollar also covers any future workshops the volunteer might take through Laubauch.

For non-Laubach members taking a Creating a Learning Culture in the Home workshop the registration fee is $1. For the national registration of Peer Youth Tutors the fee of $1 is optional as it is with inmates
