Spring, summer or fall?

This is a strange year. January was a nice winter. February was a half-decent spring. We had worse summers than March.

I expect to be picking partridge berries in June.

It is all very confusing. What can we expect in April? There are two sparrows in our birdhouse. They don't know if they should lay eggs or build igloos. If the weather stays as cold as it is today, God could see two more little sparrows fall. But who knows? Tomorrow they could be out sunning their little sparrow underwear.

I think I'll keep my woolen Long Johns by the bed, just in case. And I won't put away the hot water bottle for awhile. The last time I got stuck in a snowstorm was the sixth of June.

But that was in Gander. Nothing like that happens anywhere else.

What happens tomorrow depends upon today.
