Frontier College- Students for Literacy by: Tina Warren This summer three students with Frontier
College-Students for Literacy at Memorial University worked in partnership with
St. Johns and Mount Pearl Parks and Recreation Summer Programs to provide
reading programs. Supported by HRDC through their Summer Career Placement
program, Tina Warren, April Myles, and Lindsay Davidson were to be found, rain,
or shine, setting up their reading tent, breaking out the books and fostering a
love of reading with youth in the Metro area. Familiar to many, the reading
tent gave children of all ages a special opportunity to read and share
books Frontier College-Students for Literacy is a volunteer literacy organization at Memorial University in St. Johns, Newfoundland.
