In order to learn as much as possible, we will apply a variety of research methods, which may include:

• videotape;
• audiotape;
• interviews;
• individual
  assessments; and
• written responses, such

How will you participate?

• 1. MALE MENTORSHIP PROGRAMME

• every week, a student from St. Thomas University will come to your class.
  
  
• the mentors will read and do activities with your and your class.
  
  
• What you have to say is important! You will have an opportunity to give your opinions and feedback.
  
  
• Your journal responses are very important to this literacy project!

  2. LITERATURE CIRCLES

• these will be done during class time, with your teacher.
  
  
  
• YOU will select which books you want to read.
  
  
  
• YOU will read and discuss your book selections, in a small group.
