The Career Focus Program offers employers of the food and seafood processing industry the chance to access funding which in turn helps to further strengthen the sector in areas such as business, marketing, design, processing, engineering or other technical abilities.

11. Funding Mechanisms Please describe the type of funding mechanism used for this initiative (e.g. provider’s own budget, service contract, grant, co-funding etc.) Employers receive a wage subsidy directly from the NSSC to hire recent graduates.
