    –Begin with verb. Example: “Dug trench on Piper Drive” or “Changed oil in Ford half ton.”
    –Keep the writing short and concise.
  • Here is an opportunity to teach clear, concise entries in a timesheet or log book.

For example:

  • The worker is expected to give a detailed description of the work done in the day. This would be short and concise.
  • There is also space to list the topics discussed at the tailgate meeting. Point form would work best.
  • Students often need help to know what to write and how to write it.
