OBJECTIVES EXAMPLES
Objective A: Learners will use strategies to assess progress in writing.
  • Collect writing (drafts, revisions, edited pieces, journal entries) in a folder for self-examination.
  • Assemble a portfolio of writing based on self-identified criteria such as most significant, most difficult, or best pieces.
  • Compare journal entries to assess progress as a writer.
  • Discuss progress with peers and teacher.
  • Write about personal progress in a narrative.
