1. Brief welcome

2. Explanation of process: “I want to work with you to ensure that the decision that you’re making about getting into Heavy Equipment is the right decision for you. You may find out that being a heavy equipment operator is just what you want to do, other people will find out that it is not for them, and I will give you information that will help you decide where you might like to work, take training or study more. This is not a session on finding a job nor am I hiring people, and I am not training people. This is about finding the right fit for you. I am thinking that the entire process will take up to 1.5 hours to complete. Any questions?”

3. Guiding Principles (Write on board): No question is a stupid question, and what goes on here stays here..
